Interesting December 6, 1963 player transfer notice given to former Yankee star first baseman by the Los Angeles Dodgers, notifying him that he had been transferred to the Washington Senators. Bill would hit .271 with 13 home runs and 41 RBI's in 73 games for the Senators before being sent mid-season to the Chicago White Sox. 6 1/4 by 4 1/4 document is in nice condition with one horizontal crease across the center. Notice has also been signed by Dodgers general manager E. J. "Buzzie" Bavasi. Also included is a letter from Bavasi on Dodgers stationary notifying Skowron of the move.
LOA from the Skowron family.
