The great Bill Walton wore these Adidas shoes during his illustrious NBA career. Walton came into the NBA with as much anticipation and expectation as any player of his era after playing for John Wooden's powerhouse UCLA Bruins in the early '70s, winning three straight College Player of the Year Awards, and leading the Bruins to national titles. He then went on to have a prominent career in the (NBA) where he was a league Most Valuable Player (MVP) and won two NBA championships, though his professional career was significantly hampered by multiple injuries. Walton was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1993. Each white leather Adidas (red logo) shoe has a Bill Walton signature in black on the outside near the heel. The left shoe shows significantly greater wear-and-tear, particularly the shoestrings and yellowish tint, while the right has much whiter panels and shoestrings in much better condition, which could be the result of one shoe being on display in Bill's store and the other better preserved in a box. The autograph on the whiter (right) shoe is also stronger than its counterpart, which apparently suffered some fading; the right shoe autograph also has inscriptions of "To Bill Ficke, Good Luck." Both remain with all elements intact and largely as-issued.

Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from renowned shoe collector, Bill Ficke.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
