“Talkin’ Baseball” was the name of a famous baseball song written and sung by Terry Cashman that was released in 1981 and paid tribute to 1950s baseball. It included a popular choral refrain – “Willie, Mickey and the Duke” – that immediately struck a chord with baseball fans. These three players – Willie Mays, Mickey Mantle and Duke Snider – were the three center fielders that spelled New York baseball. Mays played for the then-New York Giants, Mantle for the Yankees and Snider for the then-Brooklyn Dodgers. This impressive trio of ballplayers would finish their careers with a combined 1,607 home runs between them and are all members of the Baseball Hall of Fame. This color lithograph, which measures 11” wide by 17” tall, was done by artist Rudy Garcia and has been signed in various shades of blue marker by all three players. Each player is shown swinging through at the plate, an appropriate pose for each of the home run bashing sluggers. The overall piece is matted and framed and measures 18” wide by 23” high.

Includes Letter of Authenticity from the Skowron Family.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
