Classic 8"x10" photograph shows portrait profile image of Babe Ruth. Ruth has added a large inscription, "To My Little Girl Friend Joan From Babe Ruth" in black fountain pen that contrasts dramatically against the stark white background area of the photo. The inscription rates 9 out of 10. The photo itself has some small areas of surface paper loss only affecting a small portion of the letter "T" in the word "To" in the inscription. Additionally the photo shows a few very small spots of discoloration, not drastically altering the dynamic overall visual quality of the piece. Includes a full LOA from JSA.
