Offered here is a very appealing example of a true blue chip item in the realm of sports memorabilia. This cream colored OAL Harridge baseball is signed on the center of the sweet spot by Babe Ruth. Ruth's instantly recognizable blue ink signature is clear and complete, presenting at a solid 7 out of 10 level in terms of clarity and strength. Close inspection reveals a minor touch of wear in the area of the "be" of "Babe" which affects the autograph to a minuscule degree. A few other small surface scratches are present on other panels away from the signature which do little to detract to the ball's nice overall presentation quality. No significant blemishes are present throughout the consistently clean surface of the sphere. The supply of Ruth signed balls of this quality may never approach the ever increasing demand.
