Commemorative blotter from the 1942 movie based on the life of Yankee Hall of Famer Lou Gehrig signed by 8, including the legendary Babe Ruth(5-6/10). Ruth has signed on the panel below the sweet spot. Others on the ball are Hall of Fame catcher Bill Dickey(7/10), Babe Herman(7/10), actor Walter Brennan(8-9/10), director Sam Wood(7/10), and two others. On sweet spot is signed "-DAVE NEWELL- with appreciation Eleanor Gehrig". Ball was shellacked at one time and had darkened with age. It was mounted on blotter which has "Compliments of Christy Walsh" on one end and "The Pride of the Yankees" on the other. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
