This baseball combines the signatures of two men who were widely regarded as the best ever in their chosen sport. Home run king and larger than life persona Babe Ruth has penned his classic signature slightly east of the sweet spot while heavyweight champion Jack Dempsey selected the panel north of the sweet spot to add his signature. Ruth's signature rates a 3-4/10 with the capital "B" in "Babe" having faded over time. Dempsey's signature remains bold and easily readable, rating 6/10 for clarity and condition. The ball itself is heavily toned due to a vintage coat of shellac.
