Aaron Judge’s 2022 season was one for the record books. His 62 home runs broke Roger Maris’ 61-year-old American League single-season record of 61. This monumental achievement earned him American League MVP honors as well. The newest Yankees captain added a staggering 131 RBIs, 133 runs, and 391 total bases to his gaudy stat line for the campaign. Judge is now all but guaranteed to be a Yankee for life after he signed a nine-year, $360 million deal with the Bronx Bombers this offseason.

Presented is the home jersey Judge wore on Opening Day of his historic 2022 season. He had a multi-hit game in that April 8, 2022 matchup against the Boston Red Sox to help lead the Yanks to a 6-5 victory. The Nike branded jersey supplies the classic “NY” logo on the left chest. The lower left front tail shows MLB Authentic Collection Nike tagging above a secondary tag with both Fanatics and MLB Authentication affixed to it. On the reverse of the jersey Judge’s classic “99” is found. He signed the first “9” in bold silver marker. Inscribed on the second “9” is “GU 4-8-22,” “Opening Day,” and “AL MVP.” The jersey has the distinct smell of a hard-fought victory, and also has evident use in dirt stains on the back. It was photomatched to the Opening Day game by Resolution Photomatching, as well as the team photoshoot on March 15th plus four Spring Training games. Full ResMatches included. Fanatics Authentic (AA0095835) and MLB Authenticated (JD585991) holograms certifiy the jersey as being game-worn on 4/8/2022.
