In Super Bowl XLII (42), the NFC Champion New York Giants upset the previously unbeaten (18-0) AFC Champion New England Patriots, 17-14. Giants QB Eli Manning, who threw for two touchdowns that day, was named the game’s MVP. This lot includes a multi-signed authentic Meadowlands Stadium seatback signed by five members of the Super Bowl XLII Champion New York Giants: Eli Manning, Hall of Famer Michael Strahan, running back Brandon Jacobs, wideout Steve Smith and defensive end Justin Tuck. All players have signed the seatback with varying degrees of black markers and all but Eli Manning signed their names followed by their uniform numbers: 27 (Jacobs), 91 (Tuck), 12 (Smith) and 92 (Strahan). The seatback measures 18” wide by 21” high, boasts the metal seatback No. 3 and is numbered 66/100. All signatures are strong and would rate 8-9/10 in our book!
