Behold a jersey from Roy Halladay's epic Cy Young season in 2010, a remarkable museum-worthy piece that gloriously represents Halladay's third 20-win campaign in his brilliant career, an effort that included a 2.44 ERA and 219 strikeouts ... and oh, yeah, a couple of no-hitters. On May 29, 2010, Halladay pitched the 20th perfect game in MLB history, beating the Florida Marlins by a score of 1–0. Halladay is currently the active major league leader in complete games with 58, including 19 shutouts. On October 6, 2010, Halladay threw the second no-hitter in MLB postseason history (Don Larsen's perfect game in the 1956 World Series being the first) against the Cincinnati Reds in Game 1 of the 2010 NLDS. It was his second no-hitter of the year (following the May 29 perfect game), making Halladay the fifth pitcher in major league history (and the first since Nolan Ryan in 1973) to throw multiple no-hitters in the same season. On the front left tail is the "Majestic" manufacturers size 50 tag; above it the coveted Major League Baseball hologram that attests to its game usage (863229 LH). Inside the left inseam is a wash tag with code "0063" and a "+1 "body" smaller tag. On the outside left seam is the “Cool Base” tag. Across the front is "PHILLIES" in red-on-blue chennile, with blue stars dotting the "i's." Across the back is the player name "HALLADAY." Below that is the player No. "34." All lettering and numbering is done in red and blue tackle twill. The embroidered "Majestic" logo appears on the left sleeve and a smaller white tag with "10" is found on the inside by the buttons; on the right sleeve is the black "36" patch that honored Hall of Famer Robin Roberts, who died that year. On the back outside collar is the official "MLB" logo patch. The jersey shows light game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. There appears to be almost no substantial fraying of the blue twill stitching throughout and no separation of fibers visible in the chenille red on the "Phillies" lettering across the front. Halladay has added a blazing blue Sharpie autograph on the lower left tail above the Majestic tag, adding the inscription "2010 NL Cy."
