PSA AUTHENTIC Full Unused PROOF - NOT VALID FOR ADMISSION - PUNCHED/CANCELLED Ticket to the World Heavyweight Championship Fight between Champion Joe Louis and challenger and British Empire Champion Tommy Farr held at Yankee Stadium in New York City on August 30, 1937 (Fight was postponed 4 days due to rain). In one of the hardest fights of his career, Louis was unable to knock Farr down in the bout which went the full 15 rounds. The referee was actually seen shaking Farr's hand after the fight, in apparent congratulation. When the unanimous decision of the judges in the Champion's favor was announced, most in the crowd booed the controversial decision. Very clean both front and back with some corner wear. Ticket has one cancellation punch hole at the right side.
