August 24, 1909 President William Howard Taft typed signed letter on White House stationary asking United States officials around the world to offer "every proper official courtesy" to the bearer of this letter. Very strong, 10/10 looking steel tip pen black ink signature. Letter itself in nice condition with small tape residue at all four corners from being placed in an album at one time.
