August 17, 1953 Welcome Home Ted Williams Dinner program signed by Hall of Fame members Ted Williams, Bill McKechnie, Ford Frick, and Lou Boudreau along with well known television and radio personality Ed Sullivan, who was the Toastmaster of the event. Williams has signed "To Juanita with love Ted Williams and Ed Sullivan has added the inscription "To Juanita". All have signed in beautiful matching 9/10 looking blue ball point pen. Williams had just left the service in July of 1953 ans this dinner was to honor his return to baseball. The entire proceeds from this event went to Ted's favorite charity, The Jimmy Fund for Children's Cancer Research. Inside has a list of honored guests, schedule of events, dinner menu, and full page biography of Williams. 8" by 11" Program itself is in very nice condition with a slight vertical crease near the center where it was folded over many, many, years ago and some damage to a 1/4" by 5 1/4" area at the bottom of the inside back page where it was attached to an album at one time. Signatures on the program were obtained by Red Sox outfielder Al Zarilla, who was playing the final year of his 10 year career with Boston, for his daughter Juanita. Outstanding and seldom seen piece of Ted Williams signed memorabilia!

LOA from Juanita Zarilla.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
