Extremely rare ticket to the April 5, 1915 World Heavyweight Championship Fight between Champion Jack Johnson and Challenger Jess Willard, held in Havana Cuba. The much anticipated bout lived up to expectations as the two men exchanged blows for 25 rounds at Havana's Oriental Park Racetrack before Willard finally knocked out the Champ in the 26th round to take the World Heavyweight crown. He would hold it for 4 years before losing the title to Jack Dempsey in what is considered by experts to be one of the most brutal beatings in the history of boxing. Ticket is printed in both English and Spanish and offers as a bonus admission to track for the running of the April 4th races including the Menocal Handicap. Printing on the $5.00 ticket is very strong with one small loss of text at the upper left where the corner is missing. Ticket has been slabbed AUTHENTIC with some creasing on the ends, missing pieces at 3 of the 4 corners, some light staining, and a 2" by 2 1/2" piece of vintage white tape applied to the back to hold the Guest Coupon in place. Awesome and extremely rare ticket to one of the most historic fights in Boxing History. The only one ever handled by PSA!
