1970 California Angels road flannel jersey game worn by starting pitcher Andy Messersmith. Messersmith went 11-10 with a 3.01 ERA for the 1970 Angels. Over his 12 year career he went 130-99 with a 2.86 ERA and was a 4 time All-Star. "ANGELS" in dark blue with red trim sewn across chest. California Angels patch sewn on left sleeve. Messersmith's number "47" sewn on back in the same dark blue with red trim. McAuliffe Uniform Company, "70", "46", and "Messersmith" tags sewn on front tail. Jersey appears totally original and displays moderate game use. A few small holes to the back top of jersey.
