Ahmad Rashad was a very successful wide receiver for the Minnesota Vikings in the late ‘70s and early ‘80s. On Dec. 14, 1980, in a home game against the Cleveland Browns, Rashad was the difference maker as he hauled in a pair of fourth-quarter touchdown passes from quarterback Tommy Kramer to help the Vikings prevail, 28-23. Rashad shined in 23-degree weather that day at Metropolitan Stadium in Minneapolis. This is the official single-white-panel Wilson (Rozelle) game ball that was awarded to Rashad following that day. On the lone white panel it is stamped: “GAME BALL PRESENTED TO Ahmad Rashad, Vikings 28 – Browns 23, December 14, 1980, Met Stadium.” The Vikings logo is prominently displayed on the ball.

Includes a Letter of Provenance from collector Robert Zweigle.
