What made Marilyn Monroe so mesmerizing in her heyday was her incorrigible sex appeal and the uniquely daring way in which she carried herself. Both are on full display in this stunning, crystal-clear original Type I photo from the 1950’s. The most beloved and desirable movie star of all-time, the blonde bombshell is pictured in a ravishing pose with her hands covering the cleavage protruding from her low-cut top. The lighting perfectly captures her puckered lips and gorgeous look, a gleaming necklace and matching earrings adding luxurious sophistication to the timeless shot.
The front has a studio note in pen on the lower border presumably from issuer, 20th Century Fox. Corners, edges and surface are flawless. The reverse is stamped with her name plus a Dell Publishing Co. stamp and the word “Deceased” from posthumous media use. Both quality and condition are immaculate. One of the finest Monroe photos extant. Encapsulated and preserved for the ages in a PSA/DNA Type I jumbo holder.
