1962 was a banner year for the Yankees. They went 96-66, good for the pennant victory by five games over the Minnesota Twins. They defeated the San Francisco Giants in a hard-fought seven game World Series, the 20th in franchise history. Presented is a ticket stub from the game in which they clinched the pennant with a victory over the Senators. This is the only example in the PSA population report to be autographed, and this example has been signed by legendary pitcher Whitey Ford. The PSA Authentic ticket was given a Mint 9 autograph grade from PSA/DNA.
