This Willie Mays signed government postcard was inscribed by the "Say Hey Kid" at the dawn of his Hall of Fame career. The centered blue steel-tip fountain pen script is preceded by the scarce inscription “New York Giants” penned in Mays' hand. The GPC shows standard postmark cancellation marks and its Aug. 27, 1951 postmark definitively the items origin to Mays rookie season. Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA (Auto. grade: 7).
