Nolan Ryan's 27-year Hall of Fame career spanned four decades and was full of incredible record-breaking achievements and milestones. He is the only player ever to eclipse 5,000 career strikeouts, totaling 5,714 punchouts in his career. His milestone 5,000th career strikeout came as a member of the Texas Rangers in a matchup with the Oakland A's on August 22, 1989. A huge crowd of 42,869 was in attendance and witnessed the Ryan Express blow one by the great Rickey Henderson for his 5,000th K. The men on both ends of the strikeout on that night in Arlington have signed the ticket offered here. Both Ryan's and Henderson's bold blue ink autographs were given perfect 10s by PSA/DNA, which also graded the ticket itself a NM-MT 8. Ryan also inscribed "5000 K's" next to his signature.
