Ace southpaw Madison Bumgarner almost single-handedly won the 2014 World Series for the San Francisco Giants, picking up wins in two gems against the Kansas City Royals and then registering a 5-inning save in the series-clinching Game 7. During the 2016 campaign, when many thought the Giants might very well make it back to their fourth Fall Classic in seven seasons, Bumgarner put up impressive numbers once again: 15-9 record, 2.74 ERA and 251 strikeouts. This lot features Mad-Bum’s 2016 San Francisco Giants game worn home jersey from a July 27, 2016, battle versus the Cincinnati Reds. Bumgarner pitched eight strong innings, striking out nine with and yielding just one run in the a hard-luck 2-1 loss at AT&T Park.

The offered cream colored Majestic Authentic Collection jersey (size 50) shows moderate wear and includes proper manufacturer’s tagging on the left front tail. A separate washing instruction tag is located on the inside left seam accompanied by a flag tag reading “+2” sleeve.” The front of the jersey reads “GIANTS” across the chest in black tackle twill outlined in orange. The jersey includes “San Francisco Giants Baseball Club” embroidered patch on the left sleeve and a pair of black-and-orange embroidered tribute patches to fallen ex-Giants “Monte 20” (Monte Irvin) and “Davvy 12” (Jim Davenport) on the right. The back of the jersey, which includes the official MLB black, white and orange vinyl logo on the outside rear collar, shows his uniform number “40” in 8.5” tall numbers made of black tackle twill outlined in orange and gold.

Includes MLB Authentication hologram (#JB 757078).
