Baseball mainstay Ichiro Suzuki is the starting right fielder for the New York Yankees. He has combined to hit more than 4,000 hits during his time in both Nippon Professional Baseball and Major League Baseball. This lot includes an official game-used Major League (Selig) baseball that Suzuki has signed in blue ink across the sweet spot from the Yankees’ May 5, 2013, home game against the Oakland A’s. Although the Yankees lost the game, 5-4, Suzuki led the Yanks’ offense by going 2-for-3 with a double and one run batted in. His signature is in blue ink and he’s added his uniform number (“#31”) next to his name. The item is a limited edition baseball (#11/20). The baseball shows several dirt, scuff and contact marks from game action.
