Addendum: MB updated from catalog.

Steven Matz is now pitching in his fourth season with the New York Mets. The southpaw starter wore the offered New York Mets road jersey in his first official win of his 2016 official rookie season, a campaign in which he finished with a 3.40 ERA and 9-8 record with 129 K’s in 132.1 innings pitched. (Matz did not qualify as a rookie in 2015 after starting just six games and posting a perfect 4-0 record for the NL East Champs.) In this particular outing, which took place on April 17, Matz threw seven shutout innings and struck out nine Cleveland Indians as the Mets posted a 6-0 victory.

The attractive gray jersey reads "NEW YORK" across the front in orange and blue tackle twill, which is the same format used for his uniform number “32” on the front and back of the jersey. His last name – “MATZ” – appears in like fashion across the shoulder blades below the official MLB logo patch that is sewn onto the back of the rear collar. The Mets iconic NYC skyline circular patch in orange, white and blue appears on the left shoulder and appropriate Majestic tagging (size “46”) appears on the front left tail and the MLB Authentic Serial Number tagging with bar code (#JB 368374”). The shirt remains in outstanding condition, seemingly as-issued and problem free, showing game use that is further validated by the MLB Authentication document included with the lot and the bar code serial number affixed to the shirt.

Includes MLB Authentication hologram (#JB 368374).
