Offered here is a jersey worn by Carmelo Anthony, one of the NBA’s most prolific scorers, while he was competing for the New York Knicks. On April 13, 2014, Anthony poured in 17 points to help the Knicks defeat the visiting Chicago Bulls, 100-89. The fine white mesh home jersey reads "New York" across the front in orange tackle twill outlined in blue and silver, the similar fashion used for his uniform number “7” on the front and back only it’s outlined in blue and white. His last name appears across the back in blue tackle twill sewn directly to the shirt; above is the Knicks' embroidered basketball logo and the NBA red, white and blue embroidered logo appears on the front left shoulder. The arms and collar are sporting silver, white and orange knit elastic trim. The appropriate Adidas manufacturer's tag [size “L”) appears on the front left tail with adjacent NBA Authentics tag with serial number (NKN02933). A washing instructions tag is attached to the front left inside inseam along with a small "L2" tag. Hand-written inside the player ID area on the tagging (presumably by the Knicks equipment manager) is “V. Chicago Bulls.”
Resolution Photomatching made a conclusive photo-match to the 4/13/14 game based on the alignment of the mesh holes with the custom stitched letters and numbers on the front of the jersey, as well as the imprints in the custom-stitched number on the front of the jersey. Shirt shows appropriate game use and has been signed by Melo on the back number “7” in black medium-point marker.
Includes LOA from Resolution Photomatching. Autograph pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
