On March 4, 1950, the Minneapolis Lakers played the New York Knickerbockers at the 69th Regiment Armory where the Knicks called home from 1945-60. Center George Mikan and forward Jim Pollard (aka "The Kangaroo Kid") tallied 23 points apiece in leading the Lakers to a 84-75 road victory. The Lakers went on to win the NBA Championship for the second straight season in 1949-50. The dynasty would add three straight titles from 1952-54, with all five under the guidance of Hall of Fame coach John Kundla and the dominating play of "Mr. Basketball."

This vintage program from that 3/4/1950 regular season game has been signed by 11 different World Champion Lakers (three signed twice) throughout the inside pages in blue, black and purple ink, averaging a bold 9/10 in strength and eye appeal.  The 14 total autographs include George Mikan (HOF), (2) Vern Mikkelsen (HOF), (2) Don “Swede” Carlson, Jim Pollard (HOF), Billy Hassett, Tony Jaros, Bob Harrison, Bud Grant, Slater Martin, Arnie Ferrin, and (2) John Kundla (HOF). Mikan and Mikkelsen signed under their photos; Kundla, Pollard and Carlson signed next to their bios; and the others appear next to their names on the scorecard. Hard to find an early Minneapolis Lakers team-signed piece this nice.
