Featured here is Jimmy Butler’s Chicago Bulls game-worn and
autographed alternate jersey from March 30, 2017, against the Cleveland
Cavaliers. The Bulls beat the defending champs,
99-93, at the United Center in Chicago thanks in large part to Butler’s
25 points, six boards and five dimes. The jersey is photo-matched
by the experts at Resolution Photomatching and comes directly from an
anonymous but very reliable NBA source who attests to Butler signing it
in person after the game.
The
6’ 7” shooting guard out of Marquette was named 2014-15 Most Improved
Player
and has made the East All-Star squad three straight years. He had his
best NBA season to date in 2016-17 as he
established career highs in points (23.9), rebounds (6.2), assists
(5.5) and steals (1.9) for the 41-41 Bulls, who fell to the #1 seeded
Celtics in the playoffs. Butler recently joined a young nucleus in
Minnesota and will now look to lead the T-Wolves in the formidable
Western Conference.
The gray short-sleeved mesh jersey has “BULLS” on the front in red
tackle twill outlined in white with “BUTLER” on the back in red-on-white
tackle twill letters. His No. “21” appears on the front and back in red
outlined in white. A commemorative “KRAUSE” patch is sewn on the upper
left chest in honor of the late Jerry Krause who served as General
Manager during the team’s glory Jordan years in the 1990’s. The
embroidered NBA logo patch is sewn on the upper back. Shirt has
appropriate “Adidas Size 3XL” tagging with a "Length +2" flap tag on the
front left tail. The adjacent NBA Authentication tag is coded
"CBU02845." A special “CHICAGO BASKETBALL” white patch is sewn upside
down on the end of the left front shirttail. Inside the left inseam are
the washing instructions and "06/15" manufacturing date tag. Butler has
signed the back number ‘2’ in 8-9/10 black marker. The collar sports
white and red elastic trim with a gold "6X" NBA Champions patch sewn on
celebrating the franchise's six titles in the 90’s. The shirt exhibits
outstanding wear was not laundered after the game; in fact, it still
carries a strong odor of Butler’s perspiration. Can't get more authentic
than that!
