On their way to Super Bowl 50, the Denver Broncos won a pair of tightly contested playoff games, beating Pittsburgh, 23-16, and then outlasting New England, 20-18, in the AFC Championship. Now all that stood in their way was Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers, whose 17-1 record overshadowed Denver’s more modest 14-4. The 2015 Broncos were inspired by the desire to give team owner/CEO Pat Bowlen one last victory and send legendary quarterback Peyton Manning off into retirement on a high note. Bowlen had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, and it was under his leadership that the team enjoyed the NFL's highest winning percentage since 1984. The Broncos delivered the win over the favored Panthers by the score of 24-10 thanks primarily to the smothering defense of SB 50 MVP, Von Miller. Manning’s swan song wasn’t a thing of beauty on the stat sheet, but he was able to ride off into the sunset with another ring on his finger.

This offered Super Bowl 50 Championship ring was issued to a team executive and is made of 10-karat white and yellow gold with a total of 194 diamonds, 15 orange sapphires and a custom corundrum blue stone (according to included Jostens paperwork). The face features the Broncos logo with three Lombardi Trophies and “50” surrounded by “WORLD CHAMPIONS” in raised gold lettering. The design is a mosaic of small diamonds, making this one of the most attractive NFL Super Bowl rings to date. The left shank has a bank of diamonds above “WESTCOTT” in raised letters and the NFL logo mounted on a crown bearing eight diamonds. The right shank has “DENVER BRONCOS” above a Lombardi Trophy and gold ribbon reading “THIS ONE’S FOR PAT” and “2015” in raised letters. Engraved inside the band is “SUPER BOWL 50 02.07.16” with the Broncos logo as well as the scores of the Steelers, Patriots and Panthers playoff and Super Bowl victories. A “Jostens 10K” hallmark is also stamped into the interior. A gorgeous example of the ring celebrating the Denver Broncos’ third World Championship. Comes in size 7 and weighs 56 grams. Comes in its original black presentation box. Both ring and box present in near flawless condition with little to no wear.
