Astros’ phenom Carlos Correa was named the 2015 American League Rookie of the Year. The youngest position player in the majors that season at age 21, Correa hit. 279 with as many home runs (22) as doubles in 99 games. He ranked first among AL rookies in homers, slugging percent (.512) and was second in RBIs (68) and on-base percentage (.345). Correa’s homer total is the most for a rookie at any position in Astros history and the most for any shortstop in club history.

Correa’s 33.5 inch, 32.9 ounce Tucci Lumber model TL-CC1-M Carlos Correa professional model bat, with a cupped end, is un-cracked and exhibits evidence of outstanding use. Numerous ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on all sides of the barrel. Ball marks include blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs. Cleat marks can be seen on the left and back barrel. Also visible on the bat is an impression from a weighted batting donut. There is moderate coat of Mota Stick on the lower handle. The Mota Stick application has been removed from the upper handle. The mark visible on the handle identifies the face grain of the bat. This is a mandatory marking, per Major League Baseball, for all maple bats since January 2009. Correa's number (1) is written on the top barrel in black marker.Includes a LOA from John Taube of PSA/DNA (Grade GU9.5).
