With more than 600 home runs to his credit, Los Angeles Angels slugger Albert Pujols is no stranger to trotting around the bases. Standing 6’ 3” and weighing in at 240 pounds, the burly first baseman is an imposing presence every time he steps up to bat. Offered here is the actual Los Angeles Angels batting helmet that Pujols donned for most of the 2015 MLB season when he clubbed 40 home runs and knocked in 95 runs. More specifically, it has been professionally photo-matched to nearly 80 games during the ’15 campaign (May 29 to Sept. 13), including the 2015 All-Star Game where Pujols drew a walk and scored a run in two at-bats. In all, Pujols hit 26 homers wearing this very helmet.

The Angels red batting helmet, designed for the righty-swinging Pujols, includes the Halos “Big A” red decal logo on the front with six air holes across the top top. Helmet’s interior is black and a series of padding is installed on the dome, headband and ear flap. His uniform number “5” appears centered on the reverse side as a red rubberized decal outlined in white. Showing extensive wear with multiple scuff marks, chips and even pine tar remnants throughout, the black-padded Rawlings S100 Pro Comp model helmet comes from one of just nine players in history to crack the ultra-exclusive “600 Home Run Club.”

MLB Auth. # HZ 888175. Includes LOA from Sports Investors Authentication with conclusive side-by-side photo-matches.
