The 2014 Brazilian National Team rolled into the FIFA World Cup with absolute confidence, overwhelming support and home-field advantage as hosts of the world's biggest sports tournament. They cruised past Croatia and Cameroon, and drew with Mexico in the group stage before colliding with Chile in the Round of 16.  Chile proved to be a worthy opponent and took the Brazilians to penalties where they lost 3-2 to the host nation. Brazil would go on to defeat Colombia in the Quarterfinals before meeting their demise in the Semifinals against the eventual champion, Germany. The jaw-dropping 7-1 thumping was a major gut punch and the pain from that record-setting margin of defeat still stings for supporters of "The Green and Yellow."

Brazil's only goal in that fateful match known as the Mineirazo [sad comedy] was scored by midfielder Oscar. Featured here is one of his #11 jerseys from the 2014 FIFA World Cup autographed by 13 teammates, including Jefferson, Dani Alves, Marcelo, Julio Cesar, Henrique, Willian, Bernard, Hulk, Dante, Ramires, Hernanes, Bernard and Jo -- all in 8/10 black sharpie. The medium-sized Nike DRI-FIT yellow shirt with green trim has the classic CBF (Brazilian Football Confederation) crest with 5 stars on the left chest and an embroidered Nike logo on the right chest. The 2014 FIFA World Cup patch is affixed to the right sleeve and the "FOOTBALL FOR HOPE" FIFA patch is on the left. One of the really cool features of the shirt is the Canarinha or "Little Canary" (common nickname for the Brazilian National team) logo embossed into the inside collar. The NOB letters ("OSCAR") and his number "11" front and back are all pressed-on the 100% polyester fabric in green. The front left tail has the Nike Authentic tagging uniquely coded "000202843" and dated "2014", with wash instructions in Portuguese and the manufacturing date code "SP140412" on the inner left seam.

The shirt shows light wear and includes a letter from the son of a former Brazil National Team kitman. Also comes with full LOA from Beckett for the autos.
