The 2012 Detroit Tigers entered the season coming off an AL Central title, and these big cats were hungry for more. The team was loaded with the likes of Miguel Cabrera, Justin Verlander, Max Scherzer, and Prince Fielder. The team gave the city of Detroit plenty to cheer for in the regular season, as Miguel Cabrera won the American League Triple Crown for the first time since Carl Yastrzemski in 1967 en route to another AL Central division championship. In the ALDS, the Tigers escaped the Oakland Atheltics for the team's second straight first round win. The Tigers ran into a dominant Yankees team in the ALCS, but they were the ones doing the dominating en route to a four-game sweep in the series.

Offered here is a reward for one of the greatest teams in recent Tigers history, presented to pitcher Brayan Villareal. This player's ring has a team logo "D" on the face made up of many diamonds and sapphires and encircled by text stating the team as "American League Champions." On the left shank is the pitcher's name "Villareal," a tiger head, another logo "D," and 11 diamonds representing the number of American League pennants won by the team. The right shank says "Tigers 2012" with the unmistakable American League and MLB logos. The interior band is stamped "Jostens 10k." Size: 11.5, Weight: 55 grams.
