On June 3, 2017, Angels slugger Albert Pujols became just the ninth member of MLB’s coveted “600 Home Run Club” when he connected for a grand slam off Ervin Santana of the Minnesota Twins in the fourth inning of a 7-2 win. At 37, he was also the fourth youngest player to reach the milestone, following Alex Rodriguez, Hank Aaron and Babe Ruth, and the first since Jim Thome in 2011. He finished the 2017 MLB season with 619 career home runs to his credit.

This lot features an Albert Pujols autographed Marucci professional model bat (unused). The two-tone, hand-crafted bat, which measures 35 inches long, was signed by Pujols in gold paint pen on the barrel and he added “+5” underneath his scrawl to reflect his uniform number. The barrel of the bat includes the following engraved text: “Handcrafted for ALBERT PUJOLS AP5-S Custom Cut.” His uniform number “5” is also engraved in black on the bat knob.

Includes MLB Authentication hologram sticker (#FJ812468). Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
