Well-traveled NBA guard Jeremy Lin has already played for six teams during the course of his ongoing eight-year career. He will forever be remembered for "Linsanity" in Feb./March of 2012 when the little known Chinese-American, undrafted out of Harvard, erupted for the New York Knicks and took the whole basketball world by storm. He remains a fan favorite across the Pacific and his story will be an inspiration for years to come. This lot features a game worn 2012-13 Houston Rockets home jersey that Lin wore during his first of two seasons in Houston. Starting all 82 regular-season games for the Rockets, Lin averaged 13.4 points and 6.1 assists for the team in one of his finest NBA campaigns.
The white mesh jersey (size “L”) has the official Adidas Climacool® tagging sewn on the left front tail, with "Length +2" flag tag and adjacent “NBA Authentics” tag with (HRO00749). It reads "Rockets" across the front in red tackle twill outlined in black, and his uniform number “7” is in red tackle twill outlined in white on both the front and back. His last name – “LIN” – appears on the back of the jersey in red tackle twill sewn directly into the shirt; the iconic red, white and blue embroidered NBA logo patch rests on the left shoulder. The collar and sleeves have red knit striping highlights. The shirt exhibits heavy game use so it was likely worn for multiple games.
