Derek Jeter, the former team captain of the New York Yankees and surefire, first ballot Hall of Famer when his times arrives, wore the offered New York Yankees home jersey during the 2010 MLB season. More specifically, it has been professionally photo-matched by the experts at Resolution Photomatching to a pair of Yankee victories played on July 1 (Getty 102591571) and July 4 (Getty 102901498) at Yankee Stadium. In the first game vs. Seattle, Jeter went 1-for-4 with a run scored as the Yankees prevailed, 4-2. In the latter game on the Fourth of July, the Bronx Bombers outlasted the Toronto Blue Jays, 7-6, in 10 innings as The Captain once again notched a hit in four at-bats and scored a run. It was another All-Star campaign for the legendary shortstop in pinstripes as he banged out 179 hits and scored 111 runs while earning the last of his five Gold Gloves.

This amazing pinstriped jersey includes the iconic Yankees script navy blue logo on the front left breast. Proper manufacturer’s identifiers are present on the left front tail including the MLB Authentic Collection Majestic Athletic sewn-on tag with two adjacent flag tags reading “2010” and “48” to indicate the season and jersey size. The tagging includes authentication holograms from both Steiner Sports and MLB to verify its game-used element. The jersey shows light to moderate wear and retains ideal display quality. The reverse of the jersey shows the official MLB embroidered hologram just below the rear collar as well as Jeter’s trademark uniform number “2” in navy blue tackle twill.

MLB Auth. # FJ 095568. LOA from Steiner Sports. LOA from Resolution Photomatching.
