2009 WORLD SERIES COLE HAMELS PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES GAME ISSUED ROAD JERSEY (MLB AUTH.)

This marvelous Philadelphia Phillies game-worn road jersey was worn during the 2009 World Series by Cole Hamels, the brilliant lefthander who has compiled a 91-60 log in seven seasons in the City of Brotherly Love, a tenure that has been highlighted by three All-Star selections and World Series and NLCS Most Valuable Player nods in 2008 when the Phillies stopped the Tampa Bay Rays in five games. This grey road jersey sports a Majestic MLB Authentic Collection Size 46 tag applied to the front tail, with MLB hologram attached (428475 LH). No. 35 and player name “Hamels” are sewn to jersey in red on white tackle twill on the back, while "Phillies" is embroidered in red chenille over white tackle twill on the front of the jersey. World Series 2009 patch is present on right sleeve, while black "HK" circular patch memorializing late broadcaster Harry Kalas is present on the chest. There is an “09” small white tag applied to the inside seam by the buttons and a “Cool Base” Majestic small tag appears along the bottom of the left inseam. There is virtually no fraying of stitching around any of the letters or numbers elements, nor is there separation of the red chenille stitching on the cursive “Phillies” lettering on the front. The jersey shows light wear, however the MLB.com online authentication program identifies this as a "Team Issued Jersey."
