Ichiro was baseball's most celebrated rookie in decades. Upon his arrival in Seattle, the Japanese superstar hit at a .350 clip and took Rookie of the Year and MVP honors in the American League. The slap-hitting Ichiro has been an All-Star in each of his eight big league seasons.
This size "46" midnight blue alternate jersey was worn by Ichiro in 2009. This is one of the few game-worn alternate Ichiro jerseys with this type of documentation - right from Ichiro himself with custom hologram and COA. He also signed it wonderfully on the reverse in silver paint pen ("9-10").
All of the identifiers are two-color tackle twill which includes the unmistakable silver spackle twill material. Silver embroidery encircles the neck and flows down the front button path. There is definite label softening and fraying on the identifiers. Featured in the tail are the following labels: Majestic Authentic Collection, (Property of Mariners 2009) and fabric content/size 46. The tail tags show decent use.
