Ultra rare example of "The Big Fundy's" 2009 Bowman Chrome Prospects Red Refractors is offered here. Graded PSA MINT 9, this red refractor has never been offered before and we can't seem to find these anywhere else on the market. LeMahieu has emerged as one of the best players in the bigs and even though 2020 was a shortened season, he took home the A.L. Silver Slugger award. LeMahieu is also the only player to win the batting title in both the A.L. and N.L. in the modern era. The three time all-star has also earned the same amount of gold gloves and has also earned Defensive player of the year two more times. Like fine wine, Lemahieu has found a way to age with grace and power and is now on the biggest stage in the majors playing under the spot lights in the Bronx. LeMahieu is well on his way to HOF status but needs to get over the hump in the playoffs. He's well positioned to do just that with the Yankees emerging as contenders the last few post seasons. This offering has a shiny, perfect surface and the image of the young rookie Cubs player registers off the charts. His autograph is also featured in the bottom half of the card and in our opinion rates a perfect 10. Sharp corners and perfect color, we don't know why this missed out on GEM MINT status. Only 5 of these Red Refractors were printed and this one is #4/5.
