Joe Maddon took the newly re-christened “Rays” all the way to the World Series in 2008. With Carlos Pena and Evan Longoria turning in tremendous seasons, the Rays can just three wins shy of 100 mark, then beat both the White and Red Sox in the playoffs before falling to the Phillies in the World Series. This staff model 10K ring has the Rays logo on top of a baseball diamond filled with stones. “AMERICAN LEAGUE CHAMPIONS 2008” runs around the top in raised letters. The left shank has “LAHEY” above the “TB” logo and team record of 97-65. The Right shank has “AL EAST CHAMPS” above the American League logo. The interior of the ring has a “9=8” hallmark. A gorgeous ring that marks the Rays first pennant.
