Featured here is a Bobby Ryan Anaheim Ducks game-worn jersey from the 2008-09 season - his first full season in the NHL. Chosen 2nd overall behind Sidney Crosby in the 2005 draft, the winger out of New Jersey was called up late in 2008. Technically, this gamer is from Ryan's rookie season when he finished as the Calder Memorial runner-up. He scored 31 goals with 26 assists in 64 games during the 2008-09 season, with 5 more goals during the Stanley Cup playoffs. Ryan played 5+ seasons in Anaheim before moving on to Ottawa in 2013-14, doing his best to honor the No. 9 worn by original Mighty Duck and fan favorite Paul Kariya. With four straight 30-goal seasons, I'd say Ryan did the best one could have asked.

The CCM size 58 white home jersey has the Anaheim Ducks patch sewn across the front. Ryan's #9 is stitched on both sleeves and on the back in black tackle twill with white and gold piping. 'RYAN' is stitched on back in the same format. There is also a Reebok logo patch sewn on the back above the letters. Tagging inside the hem reads "Anaheim Ducks 2008-2009 - Customized by SUBLISTITCH inc. - Head equipment manager Doug Shearer (w. facsimile autograph) SET #3". It shows great wear, with black puck and stick marks (including what looks like a puck indentation on the back right side), stretching in the sleeves and shoulders, and fraying on the right shoulder seem. Overall, it comes essentially as-issued and problem-free. What an incredible offering for Ducks fans and hockey collectors alike!

Includes Letter of Provenance from the Newport Sports Museum.
