Like Ruth, Gehrig, DiMaggio, and Mantle before him, Jeter personifies the current Yankees dynasty and it seems assured that one day his plaque will hang both in Yankee Stadium's Monument Park and Cooperstown. This jersey originates directly from Yankees-Steiner Collectibles, the official collectibles company of the New York Yankees, which used to exclusively market all authentic game-used Yankees jerseys, and is accompanied by an LOA from the company attesting to its game-used status. In 2007, Jeter recorded his sixth 200 hit season, joining Lou Gehrig as one of only two players in franchise history with as many as four; his six 200 hit seasons are the most by any shortstop in Major League history. Jeter collected four separate hitting streaks of at least 15 games in 2007, becoming the first Major Leaguer since 1941 to accomplish the feat. On the front left tail is the "Majestic" manufacturers tag with flag tags attached reading size "48" and "2007." Inside the left seam is a wash tag with code "0062." On the front left breast is the "NY" logo in navy blue tackle twill. On the back is the player's number "2" done in navy blue tackle twill. On the back outside collar is the embroidered official "MLB" logo. On the left sleeve is a black armband worn in remembrance of Corey Lidle. Autographed by Jeter on front in blue marker with his “07 Game Used” notation added (9/10). The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.

Accompanied by a Yankees-Steiner LOA and a JSA Auction LOA.
