Pair of 2006 World Series full unused tickets from the matchup between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Detroit Tigers. This would be the third meeting of the two teams in the World Series, the first time in thirty-eight years. Game 2 ticket (Tigers 3, Cardinals 1) encapsulated as MINT 9 by PSA is in excellent condition showing no mentionable wear. Game 5 ticket (Cardinals 5, Tigers 4) encapsulated as EX-MT 8 by PSA. Interestingly, Game 4 was postponed one day due to rain and Game 5 ticket holders attended the newly rescheduled Game 4, while Game 4 ticket holders went to Game 5. As the PSA holder indicates, the Game 5 ticket was used on October 26th for Game 4. The Cardinals went on to win Game 5 of the series to close out the Tigers, 4-1, becoming the 2006 World Series Champions.
