Ronaldo de Assis Moreira, known simply as Ronaldinho, captivated soccer fans worldwide with his wondrous footwork and entertaining moves on the pitch. He most often played an attacking midfielder for Brazil and there was not a more skilled or creative footballer during his incredible run with Seleção (1999-2013) and top European clubs Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona and AC Milan. The two-time FIFA World Player of the Year remains one of the greatest players in history. Featured here is a Ronaldinho 2006 FIFA World Cup match worn and autographed Brazil National Team jersey. After leading Brazil to its record fifth World Cup title in 2002, Ronaldinho -- part of the "magic quartet" with Kaká, Ronaldo and Adriano -- was expected to do big things at the 18th edition of the World Cup held in Germany. However, Brazil fell to France in the quarterfinals for one of their earliest exits. This important jersey was worn by one of Brazil's greatest players in the world's biggest sporting event.
The yellow Nike jersey (size M), trimmed in green around the neck and sleeve ends, features the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) logo with five green stars symbolizing Brazil's five World Cup titles (1958, 1962, 1970, 1994 and 2002). Ronaldinho's autograph with his number "10" inscribed is done in thick black marker just above the green Nike swoosh logo. "Brasil" is stitched in yellow behind the green collar and five yellow stars are pressed on just inside the back collar. His iconic No. "10" is pressed on the front and back along with "RONALDINHO" arched across the upper back, all done in green numbers and letters. The right sleeve features the ever-important "FIFA World Cup GERMANY 2006" patch. The shirt exhibits light to moderate wear with signs of stretching and some scattered contact abrasions.
