ADDENDUM: CATALOG HEADING UPDATE: THERE IS NO USC LOA FOR THIS JERSEY. PHOTO-MATCHED FROM 10/15/2006.
Reggie Bush wore this thrashed home black jersey during his inaugural season with the New Orleans Saints in 2006. Inside the rear collar is a strip tag with “06-42 L”. Sleeves feature the Saints and Reebok patches on each with an elastic hem. Bush's No. 25 appears on the front, back and on both shoulders in gold on white tackle twill. The “NFL EQUIPMENT” patch is on the front V-Neck, directly adjacent to a Saints team patch. "BUSH" appears on back in gold on white tackle twill across a black nameplate. The jersey shows incredible wear and reeks of sweat and game use. There are contact marks and paint transfers all over, along with several areas of fraying. The dark black spots and streaks on the front numbers have been photo-matched to an October 15, 2006 home game vs. the Philadelphia Eagles at the Superdome. Bush was held in check for the most part with 61 combined rushing and receiving yards, but the Saints won 27-24 on a last-second field goal. Hard to find a more authentic gamer than this!
