Offered here is a bat swung by slugger Manny Ramirez during the 2005 season with the Red Sox, a year after he helped break Boston's 86-year "Curse of the Bambino." Man-Ram belted a career-high 45 homers with 144 RBI and 112 runs scored in 2005, earning his 7th straight Silver Slugger and 8th consecutive All-Star nod. The cherry/black Diablo Mr24 bat (34" and 33. oz.) exhibits moderate use with a handle crack and three very pronounced contact marks (w/ blue ink transfers from OML baseballs) on the front barrel. There is a coat of dried pine tar on the mid-section and center brand. Includes letter from PSA/DNA (graded a GU 8) and LOA from Game Used Bats Authenticated stating that bat was sourced by Blue Jays visiting team bat boy at Fenway.
