For the second consecutive year in 2005, Derek Jeter won Golden Glove for his work around shortstop for the Yankees. He also hit .309 with 19 home runs and led the league in plate appearances. One of those rare athletes who seemed to excel in the big games, Jeter batted .333 against the Angels in the ALDS, contributing 2 home runs, 5 RBI and stolen base. Jeter’s home white pinstripe jersey has the Yankees “NY” on the front chest in navy tackle twill. The Majestic label is sewn in the left front tail with “2005” and “48” strip tags affixed. Cleaning label is sewn inside the jersey. The back has Jeter’s number “2” in navy tackle twill that the future Hall of Famer has signed in bold silver paint pen. The jersey exhibits moderate use over all with some light toning around the neck area and some snags in the fabric on the back. A solid gamer from one of the best players to ever don the pinstripes.
