Featured here is a Stanislav Chistov Anaheim Mighty Ducks game-worn jersey from the 2003 Stanley Cup Finals vs. the New Jersey Devils. The Russian winger played in all 21 playoff games that year, tallying 4 goals and 2 assists. The Devils denied the Mighty Ducks their first cup in an epic 7-game Finals. Still,it was a remarkable run for the Ducks franchise that set the tone for a parabola of success in the coming years.
The purple CCM size 54 road jersey has the Mighty Ducks logo sewn on the front and both shoulders along with the 2003 Stanley Cup patch crested over the right chest area. Chistov's #23 is sewn on both sleeves and on the back in white tackle twill with purple and teal piping. 'CHISTOV' on back is in white on a purple nameplate. There is also a KOHO brand logo patch sewn on the back above the letters. The jersey has the 2002-2003 MeiGray inventory tag (coded A08890 for authenticity verification) in the hem. It shows light wear, with evidence of game-use in the form of a few puck and contact marks on the sleeves. There is little pilling or fraying and it comes essentially as-issued. What an incredible offering for Ducks fans and hockey collectors alike!
