Lofa Tatupu was a hard-hitting linebacker for the USC Trojans who started 25 games during his two years (2003 and ’04) for the Trojans. He finished his USC career with 202 tackles, nine sacks, seven interceptions, three fumble recoveries, three forced fumbles, 18 pass deflections, and one touchdown. He received first-team All-America honors from Sports Illustrated following the 2004 season. This lot includes Tatupu’s 2003 USC Trojans autographed and game-worn home jersey. The stretchy mesh/spandex size 46 Nike burgundy and gold jersey includes the “SC” emblem on bottom of the V-neck collar and shows game usage with paint transfers on the shoulders and slight fraying of the gold tackle twill numbers “58.” Tatupu has signed the jersey twice, on the front and back, in black fine-point marker across the top of the number “5.” He added his jersey #58 to both signatures and added “2003” to the front side signature. Signatures are both in great condition.
