Former MLB first baseman Todd Helton played his entire career in the Mile High City at Denver’s Coors Field. One of the top hitters and run producers in his prime, Helton belted 369 home runs and drove in 1,406 runs during his 17-year career, finishing with an average of .316 that included a batting title in 2000. This lot features Helton’s 2002 Colorado Rockies game worn home uniform from a season in which he batted .329 with 30 homers and 109 RBI and claimed his 2nd straight Gold Glove and Silver Slugger awards. He is certainly a Hall of Fame consideration when he becomes eligible in a few years.

The white, button-down polyester jersey with purple pin stripes includes proper Russell Athletic manufacturer’s tagging on the left front tail below which resides a sewn-on white tag reading “HELTON-48-17: to denote the player, jersey size and uniform number. An additional flag tag reads “2” EXTRA LENGTH.” The jersey, which shows moderate use, reads “ROCKIES” arched across the front in silver tackle twill outlined in black and white with his number “17” residing on the left front chest in black tackle twill outlined in gray. The official Colorado Rockies embroidered black, purple, silver and white patch adorns the left sleeve, while a special “10 YEARS COLORADO ROCKIES ANNIVERSARY SEASON” embroidered patch adorns the right. The back of the jersey reads “HELTON” arched across the shoulders in black tackle twill outlined in gray followed by his number “17” just below it in similar tackle twill fashion stretching eight inches tall. Serious fraying of the numbers and letters is evident on the front and back. The purple, white and black MLB embroidered logo patch is located on the outside rear collar. The accompanying white pinstriped pants show good wear and include proper Russell Athletic tagging on the inside rear waistband with a separate sewn-on white ID tag reading “17-HELTON-36-38-26-02.” An adjoining flag tag reads “100% POLYESTER H-CUT.” Both buttons on the rear pockets remain intact.

Includes LOA from the Colorado Rockies.
