This 2001 World Champion Lakers Back to Back Shaquille O'Neal ring was given to a friend of O'Neals and is identical in every respect to rings given to the players. This size 9 1/2 ring is cast in 14K yellow gold. On the top and sides of the perimeter is "LAKERS WORLD CHAMPIONS" in relief with two small diamonds. The face is covered with several small diamond chips as well as yellow stones forming a platform atop which is set two NBA Championship trophies done in diamonds. On the right shank, all in relief is "Los Angeles lakers" above "BACK 2 BACK 2001." On the left shank is O'Neal, along with "15 1 56 26" flanking the NBA's logo and O'Neal's No. 34. Inside the ring's band is "14K." The ring is spectacularly displayed in a 7-by-5-inch (3 inches deep) metal box meant to simulate a polished wood surface, along with a 3 1/4-inch-by 1 3/4-inch gold nameplate on top with "2001 World Champions Los Angeles Lakers, the club's logo and the name of the ring's original owner. The ring itself and the box are in Near-Mint to Mint condition; the ring embeds in a black velvet base.
