Former USC Trojans quarterback Carson Palmer won the Heisman Trophy in 2002 after leading Troy to an 11-2 record and a final AP ranking of No. 4 in the country. The season before the Trojans finished with a 6-6 record with Palmer throwing for 2,567 yards and 13 touchdowns. This is Palmer’s autographed and game-worn USC home jersey from the ’01 season. The No. 3 nylon/mesh jersey (size 46) shows game usage and includes the W.A. Goodman & Son’s manufacturer’s tag on the inside of the neck area. Palmer has autographed in black fine-point marker the top of the No. 3 on the front of the jersey. The autograph includes Palmer’s uniform “#3” which has faded a bit over time but remains legible.
